Today I pretty much finalized the menu for our upcoming Halloween party:

Harvest Johnnycake Festival

Lisa & I attended the Harvest Johnnycake Festival at Kenyon Grist Mill last Sunday. It was a lot of fun - lots of local crafts & goods, fresh seafood, local wine from two of RI's vineyards, live music, and yard sales.

From the yard sales Lisa scored a cute cashmere sweater for $3! I got a long camel coat, cute retro inspired top, a cardigan twin set, and vintage juice glasses for $16. It was a lot of fun and I'll definitely go back next year!

Mystic, CT

Ian and I took a day trip to Mystic, CT and had the best time. We visited Mystic Aquarium, then checked out the shops at Olde Mystic Village. Here are a few instagrams:

 All in all it was a great day! We got a little Christmas shopping done, and tried Pumpkin Pie fudge for the first time, which I think I am going to have to try to re-create ASAP!

It's finally Saturday..

Last night Ian & I made homemade Reese's cup using Elsie's recipe. They were soooo good. Would make a great homemade gift.

I picked up a few vintage inspired cocktail rings on Ebay this week. Can't wait for these to arrive!

Nutella Cookies

Tonight I tried the Four Ingredient Nutella Cookies from tastykitchen.com. Extremely easy to make and the Nutella flavor was great!

Nutella Cookies

-1 cup Nutella spread

-1/2 cup sugar

-1 cup flour

-1 egg

Mix ingredients and roll into 1 inch balls. Use the bottom of a glass to flatten. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes or until set. '

I added chocolate chips because... I'm not gonna not. Enjoy!

A few fun things I picked up this week:

Black & orange paper straws from Isakay Boutique. So cute, and even though they are paper straws they hold up well. Came with a download for customizable flags. Want the rainbow pack!

Agate Druzy ring from Ebay seller DDMShopping. Liking the druzy trend but not at some of the prices! Look at you Urban Outfitters.

Halloween bottle printables from MagicPup. Bought these before I saw the free printables on MarthaStewart.com, these are much better though.

Winter tree decal from WowWall. So I can re-creat something like this:
